Love theses but the designs could use some work

I love these nails and how well they stay on. The extra-short design is perfect for me! The biggest selling point in my opinion is that they can be reused, which makes the cost seem like a no-brainer. The only downside I’ve experienced is that the design on the French tips rubbed off on most (though not all) of the nails after wearing them. Because of that, if I were to reuse them now, they look more like a worn manicure than a fresh set. Since being able to reuse them was a major factor in justifying the price, the value isn’t quite there for me if the design doesn’t hold up well enough for multiple wears. At that point, the cost feels much less reasonable because I can’t realistically wear this set again. I was later advised to apply a UV top coat before wearing them to help protect the design, but unfortunately I didn’t receive that recommendation until after I’d already worn them for over a week and the design had started to wear away. I definitely see myself purchasing solid colors in the near future, but am a little hesitant to go with a design again.
